We are very pleased that many customers had been visited to Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura in last year. We are looking forward to your visit in 2020, too. We will hold “New Year Festival” where you can experience Japanese traditional New Year’s event from 9:00 am on New Year’s day. Of course, each theater and other facilities are open as usual, so please come and visit us. All villagers are looking forward to welcoming you!

Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura has been released its official account ( edotrip_official ) on Instagram since November 2019. We will convey the “Now” of Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura to all over the world through photos with a live feeling, and will send information from a different angle than the Facebook page, so we are looking forward to your follow. In addition, we will introduce Instagrammable spots in the facility, so please use it for research before coming and during your stay in Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura. We will Recruit the participation works for [Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura Photo Contest] in the period from October 1st (Tue) to November 30th (Sat), 2019. Works will be accepted in 4 categories:“Landscape”, ”Person”, ”Rental Costume”, ”Show”. Please send photos taken in Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura after October 2018 in the application form on this site. Of course, you can use the Wi-Fi in the facility and apply for a freshly taken photo. Applicants for winning works will receive a nice souvenir. Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura will switch to winter season from November 1st 2019 and the opening hours will be from 9:00 to 16:00. The outdoor show <Open-air Theater Ninja Fort> which started from spring and has been well received will end the performance on October 31st. From November 11th, we will start the winter-only <SAMURAI-Show> at the O-edo Theater so please look forward to it. For details of theater opening time click here.   By the way, Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura will be closed due to facility inspection for 4 days from March 2nd (Mon) to 5th (Thu), 2020. Additional performances will be held on 5th-6th October to predict the congestion of the theater. Please note that the opening time of each theater will be changed during this period. You can check the temporary opening schedule from here.

  We will offer discount plan for rental costumes for a limited period of 10/1 to 11/30 at the transformation place [UTUROI-KAN] where you can experience Edo period costumes such as photo shooting and rental costumes. We have opened a Facebook page in Thai, Chinese, Korean, and English between April to the end of June 2019. In addition to the Japanese version that has been in operation since 2011, recommended information are delivered to users by language in each of all five languages. Please give it a thumbs up!
